DAY 5 Houston Mission Trip

Hello Everybody! Today we did some more canvasing to finish the houses that we started on Monday in the Mattek's neighborhood. 

We also took a short break in the hammock park ;) 

After we finished all the canvasing, we had a recap meeting and headed to the pool, the weather was perfect, 85 degrees! 

Noah stole my phone at took some pictures... so I bet he regrets that right about now. 

The pool was a Thumbs up all around. 

Then we packed our bags and traveled down to Houston to meet the Pastor of the new church were helping out called "Hope in the Heights" church. 

We played outside the pastor's townhome and met the family. The main part of this picture is Madison, the pastor's adorable daughter. We played catch, and a couple of small yard games. 

This is Chloe and Naveah with the pastor's dog, Lola. 

The boys got cozy after they got settled in, and everything got pretty quiet for the night. 

The lovely Mattek family let us borrow their van, and I promised I would let them know of all of its adventures. Here it is in our host family's driveway :)
